Second day in Kanyakumari, early morning around 5.30 am we woke up to the sound of someone knocking at our hotel room shouting “Its time for sunrise wake up”.  Freshened up and headed towards sunrise viewpoint, As we reached we came across a huge crowd near the viewpoint eagerly waiting to see the sunrise. The sun was slowly rising over the distant of Vivekananda memorial starting to color the sky in all shades of red. Ghost town Dhanushkodi – where oceans meet

We visited Dhanushkodi on our trip to Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari. Dhanushkodi is heaven on earth for all the beach lovers. Bordered by the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean Dhanushkodi is one of the beautiful places I have visited. The emerald-green water, white sand, where you can actually see a rainbow in milky white waves and the ruins on the shore are sure a delight for all the travelers.
